Invisible Forces II - Experimental & Scientific process

Invisible Forces projects developed from a fascination with the microscopic and natural world of fungi. Facts such as, spores remain in the ground, spread over vast ares and are regenerated through powerful but invisible forces given the right environmental conditions. I grew mushrooms under the sink in the Boarding house, took spore prints of the mature fungi, ate the produce and researched the variety of their forms, including through scientific diagrams of their parts and stages of growth. Also, I grew mold on sheets of paper with a mixture of flour and water.

The main keys to growing mushrooms are establishing the right growing conditions and acquiring or making mushroom spawn, which is the material used to propagate mushrooms. In order to accomplish this, I've kept them under the sink where it is dark and cool, and sprayed regularly to keep it moist and humid. It took approximately 5~6 weeks.
